A tonal sound wave graphic pervaded the claret body, capturing the passion and energy of fans while they sing the iconic ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ chant at Villa Park. The shirt debuted the all-new circular club crest, which was a tribute to the 1982 European Cup-winning squad. Signing off the overall look was the small white Villan lion symbol at the back below the collar.

Men’s Aston Villa Shirt

Aston Villa originally played in deep red and blue colours which were from the old school of the founders. The club went through a spell of changing home shirts from black to claret, blue, white, chocolate and light blue before switching to their synonymous claret shirts with blue sleeves.

Aston Villa wear a distinctive claret and sky blue top, due to the Villas early success as a football club. West Ham and Burnley went on to adopt these colours for their teams kit. It is said that the colours were chosen because they reflected the clubs attitude to drinking red wine whilst admiring the sky behind the glass.
